Returns and refunds for merch


This article covers merchandise purchases only.

Our return window is 30 days from the date of purchase. Here's how it works and what's eligible.


What's eligible for a return

You can return a merch item within 30 days of purchase if:

  • The item is faulty
  • The item is damaged
  • The item is not as described

Items returned for these reasons will be refunded or replaced, and we'll cover reasonable return shipping costs.


What's not eligible

  • Change of mind
  • Items returned outside the 30-day window
  • Items damaged through misuse
  • Items returned without their original packaging
  • Items not in saleable condition when returned

These exclusions don't override your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


How to start a return

  1. Email hello@futureative.com before sending anything back
  2. Include your order number and the reason for the return
  3. For faulty or damaged items, attach clear photos
  4. We'll confirm next steps, including the return address

Please don't send items back without contacting us first. Returns received without prior notice can't always be processed.


The refund itself

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll let you know whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are processed via your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, the refund can take a few business days to appear on your statement.


Return shipping costs

If your return is due to a fault, damage, or the item not matching its description, we cover reasonable return shipping. For any other approved return, the return shipping cost is yours.
