How do I apply to speak at a Futureative event?
We're always interested in hearing from creative practitioners who'd be a strong fit for an upcoming summit. The first step is our expression of interest form.
Who we look for
Our summits feature creative practitioners who are actively doing the work, across creative practice, launching work, and navigating change. We're less interested in pure theorists or general motivational speakers, and more interested in people who can share what they've learned from lived experience.
We work across three rotating summits:
- The Creativity Summit. Creative practice, skills, and sustainable work.
- The Launch Summit. Audience building, marketing, and monetisation.
- The Trend Summit. Industry shifts, technology, and what's coming next.
If your work fits one of these, we'd like to hear from you.
How to apply
Submit an expression of interest through our speaker EOI form: forms.futureative.com/speakers
The form covers everything we need to consider your application, so there's no need to follow up with a separate email.
What happens next
We review expressions of interest as part of our planning for upcoming summits. Our line-ups balance topic, format, audience fit, and availability, so even strong applications don't always result in an invitation for the next summit. Good applications stay on file for future cycles.
A note on what we're building
The speaker network is one of the long-term assets we're building at Futureative. We approach speaker relationships carefully. If we invite you to speak, it's because we want to keep working with you, not just for one session.
Have a suggestion rather than an application?
If you'd like to suggest someone else as a speaker, or send through a topic or question for a future summit, that goes through a different form. See our article on suggesting topics or speakers.
